Excellent upper lateral meg from South Carolina.  The primarily tan root is in awesome condition with very little cracking, well defined protective nubs and a few nutrient holes in the center.  The tan, black, and gray bourlette is as close to 100% as a bourlette can get.  The flat side bourlette is almost 100% as well.  The crown enamel is just a fantastic blue gray color with some cream mixed in, and outlining the bourlette on both sides.  There is no enamel peel on the entire tooth.  The serrations are huge and sharp and barely a single one nicked until you get right to the tip.  The tip is very unusual, it looks like a bite mark cut across the labial side early in the development and it "healed" in an unusual way.  The tip is the only thing keeping this off the "Best of the Best" page, but still it is just an awesome tooth.

Awesome upper lateral meg from Battery Creek Port Royal, South Carolina.  One of the nicest teeth you will ever seen from South Carolina.  Definitely on the "Best of the Best" Page.   The brownish gray root is in great condition, and virtually no cracking on the display side.  The brown and tan mottled bourlette is amazingly well preserved at 99%, extending to the very edges of the tooth.  This amazing bourlette wraps around the tooth to where the flat side bourlette is 95+% intactThe crown enamel is a beautiful, glossy, mottled light gray (almost bluish), tan, and black.  The color of this tooth is very reminiscent of those found at the famous Lee Creek, NC. There is almost no hydration cracking on the flat side.  There is also virtually no enamel peel on the tooth either.  The serrations are in phenomenal condition (Lee Creek Sharp) with only one very slightly nicked (and I am being very picky here), even the tiny ones near the root are intact.  The serrations also exhibit the cool attribute of being a different color from the crown enamel.  The tip is perfect!
